What is it? Lierac Paris Gommage Sensoriel
What it claims: "A delicious gel-oil texture that transforms into a milk upon contact with damp skin for delicious, skin-smoothing and invigorating exfoliation."
The good: It smells really nice and if you squint really hard while trying to avoid getting drugstore shampoo in your face; you might feel like you're in an expensive French spa in the South of France. The texture is really grainy to begin with...I actually lost all hope once I touched it because it seemed like it was going to be very abrasive. However, after I started to rub it on my skin it turned into this amazingly creamy consistency.
The bad: If you have sensitive skin this is probably going to be abrasive upon first contact. I decided to just use it as an exfoliant for my legs (which primed them great for shaving). Even though the formula turns creamy there are still little peach kernel pieces that do their fair share of scrubbing.
The ugly: The price! It's $30 for 3.5 ounces. Save the 30 bucks and throw some sugar, sweet almond oil, and a splash of vanilla in a mason jar and call it day! Spend your $30 on something worth having... Like anything from The Kate Spade store.
