Yes I went to the store for cookies and lilacs!
This is the best part of being a grown-up....you get to do whatever makes you happy.
Two things:
1) These little Crispy Crunch Chocolate Chip Cookies from Trader Joe's are like crack! No Lie. You go in thinking...'I'll just have two or three. A little snack.' and before you know it half the tub is gone. It's a slippery slope my friend but one well worth it.
2) Who doesn't love fresh flowers in their house? This is the perfect time of year to find them too. One thing I hate is going to the grocery store and seeing those generic cut flower bundles...not to mention the price of those guys. I've found that aside from your local farmers market, Trader Joe's is one of the BEST places to grab yourself some fresh cut flowers. They have very reasonable prices and while they do have mixed seasonal bouquets, they also have bouquets of stems as well...lilacs, peonies, gladiolas, freesia, the list goes on and on. I picked up three bunches of lilacs and each bunch was $7.99. That's a fabulous price...that it from someone who used to work at a flower shop. Find a store near you!
